Working many years in German Near and Middle East Association

With offices in Hamburg and Berlin and various representative offices in other cities, the German Near and Middle East Business Association / Nah- und Mittelost-Verein (NuMOV) is the leading organisation for economic relations between Germany and the countries of the Near and Middle East.

The Association founded 70 years ago is Germany’s oldest non-profit organisation for promoting bilateral economic relations between Germany and the Near and Middle East.

Board members of well-known German companies such as Deutsche Bank, Siemens, ThyssenKrupp and MAN are also board members of NuMOV. The diplomatic missions of the Near and Middle East countries support the activities of the Association, which also works closely with other official and semi-official bodies such as Ministries, the German Association of Chambers of Industry and Commerce and the Federation of German Industries and various chambers of Commerce and Industry.

The Association organises seminars, conferences and delegations and provides its member companies with up to date and relevant information about business opportunities. The bi-monthly magazine of the Association and the Near and Middle East Economic Handbook published by NuMOV give a comprehensive overview of the current economic developments in the region.
